Two cards are selected， noted， and returned to the deck. The cards are shuffled， some face up and some face down. Then， with the aid of a 'divining rod' – in this case， a coin – the magician locates the first card instantly. Next， a spectator finds the second card， in the same， but more surprising way. Finally， the selections are reinserted into the deck and with a snap of the fingers， the entire mish-mash of cards rights itself， except for the two selections.
