Piece-by-piece card restorations are an obsession for magicians. Why "Repair?" We LOVE "Repair" for two simple reasons:
1. It looks perfect. Check out the video. A card is torn into four pieces and as each piece is touched to another, they instantly fuse. No weird finger motions. No cover. Just pure magic.
2. It is very easy to do. That's right—even easier than you might imagine. Other versions often require incredibly strange contortions of the hand or unusual angles. Not so with “Repair.” It's as easy as they come.
"Repair" was initially offered by creator Alan Rorrison for nearly $20, but we have made an arrangement to offer it to our customers for just $10 for a limited time. This download will not remain at this price on our site for long.
Let us try to give you some more info, as we like to give you as much as possible to make an informed decision: each card takes about two minutes to prepare, but you can prepare many at the same time if you wish to perform the effect several times.
The angles are really good. You can do it almost surrounded. You should use a court card during performance. That's it! The video is straightforward and will have you doing it in no time.
Alan explains many handling points, including how to hand out the card for examination at the end.
