Tres espectadores eligen cada uno， una carta de la baraja. Las cartas son devueltas al mazo en cualquier lugar， sin control alguno.
A continuación el mago habla sobre la capacidad de intuición que todos tenemos. como prueba de ello， intentará que cada espectador localice su propia carta， gracias a su intuición.
Al primer espectador se le pide que eche cartas cara arriba， una a una sobre la mesa， hasta que decida detenerse. Cuando así lo ha hecho， se mira cuál es el número de la última carta que ha dejado sobre la mesa. Imaginemos que se trata de un diez. Al cortar diez cartas， aparece la primera carta elegida.
!Podría haber parado en cualquier otra carta!
Al segundo espectador se le pide que intuya la posición de la segunda carta， pensando un número. Se le pide que nombre el número por primera vez y sorprendentemente， la carta elegida por el mismo coincide con la posición pensada.
Para el tercer espectador se realizará de forma directa. Debe echar cartas caras abajo sobre la mesa y detenerse cuando lo desee.
La última carta dejada en la mesa será la elegida. Increiblemente así sucede.
La baraja está todo el tiempo en las manos de los espectadores， el mago no hace nada， no manipula ni realiza falsos movimientos.
