This project collects three of my favorite ACAAN routines. It includes both impromptu handlings and stacked versions with different structures. If you enjoy ACAAN plots, these three unusual approaches will definitely inspire new ideas.
Double Double ACAAN:
The spectator freely cuts the deck into three packets and shuffles them. A card is freely cut to and remembered. Two randomly cut cards indicate the exact position of the selection. Not only that, the spectator selects another card again, remembers another freely cut card, and two more random cuts once again reveal the exact position of the selection.
Digital Positioning ACAAN:
A completely impromptu routine. The spectator shuffles, deals, and selects a card. The magician tables one card as a prediction. After shuffling, that prediction card ultimately indicates the exact position of the spectator’s selection.
Multiple Cuts ACAAN:
Another fully impromptu routine. The spectator freely cuts the deck, notes the number of cards, then cuts the deck into four packets and remembers a completely random card. After several more cuts that thoroughly mix the order, the performer can still perfectly locate the spectator’s selection.
