Aaron Fisher presented a lecture on magic & methods by his first mentor Jack Birnman.
The lecture started with an effect from Steve Beam’s popular Semi Automatic Card Trick series, In the Side Pocket. In this description Aaron taught a simple cull to make this a trick that can start from a shuffled deck.
Aaron demonstrated a very straightforward Ambitious Card phase using a simple version of the Lateral Palm.
The next idea presented used an idea from Paul Cummins, an Ambitious Card Transposition with a Double Lift Substitute.
Finally there was a performance of Larry Jennings In the Middle Transpo.
The following items were taught – Lateral Palm Grip, Sidekick Maneuver with a Dribble, Sidekick Maneuver with a Riffle, Sidekick Replacement, Aaron Fisher Outjogged Change, Paul Cummins Simplified Covered Steal with Two Double Turnovers, Aaron Fisher’s handling of Paul Cummins move used as a Load, Larry Jennings Transposition with the Larry Jennings Double Card Move to Lateral Palm into the Outjogged Change, more Ambitious Card Phases, Lateral Palm Add On from Push Off as a Switch Out (Double Lift Substitution), Cut Controls, Push Off Slip Cut, and Two Card Push Lateral Palm Undercut.
The event went mega as Aaron performed and explained The Spectator Cuts to the Four Aces, The World’s Fastest Card Sandwich, Dragnet & finally The Birnman Revelation.
