1. A deck of cards is borrowed and shuffled, and groups of cards are handed out to the spectators. A game of poker is proposed. The spectator determines how many players there are and deals that many hands, and they can deal the hands in any order.
2. The spectator determines how many cards the magician discards from their hand, and they deal replacement cards to the magician.
3. The spectators claim different hands and choose which cards to discard and replace.
4. Impossibly, when the hands are revealed, the magician has the winning poker hand. Not only is it the winning hand, but it’s also a royal flush.
