Lucky 52 is a powerful, easy-to-perform prediction effect packed with comedy and surprise.
A mainstay of Matthew Wright's professional repertoire, Lucky 52 is a carefully scripted and routined piece of mental magic, blending genuine astonishment with laughs, all built around the idea of the Snap World Championships.
A single "lucky" card is introduced and placed aside in full view.
It has the word LUCKY printed on the back. This is Matthew's lucky card.
The spectator is told that as Matthew deals face-up cards from the deck, they must say snap and drop their hand onto any card they like.
They can snap at any time – and they can even change their mind.
It is a completely free choice.
If they snap on a card and it does not match the lucky card, the spectator wins a prize.
This creates plenty of comedy and interaction.
Then the lucky card is turned over to reveal something unexpected: all 52 cards are printed on its face.
Now the real magic begins.
The deck is shown and every card has a different back design – each one unique.
Attention is drawn back to the special card with all 52 faces, still marked LUCKY on the back.

It is the only matching LUCKY card in the entire deck.
Lucky 52 is incredibly easy to perform and requires no sleight of hand at all.
