Q： Is this based on any previous work?
A： While Lonnie conceived of Clean Thru / Clear Thru independently， there have been other effects involving penetration of bills that came before this one. The history of our art matters， so we want to credit them here.
1996： The Tokyo Penetration by Rue Susato. Published in the Looking Glass Spring 1996 issue. Two bills penetrate through one another.
